It is interesting to note other drawings by Venetian artists that show portraits of women half-length, such as the drawing of Study of a standing Lady in black and white chalk on blue paper by Paolo Caliari, called Paolo Veronese (1528-1588), which in turn was made for Portrait of a Lady with a Dog in the Thyssen collection, Lugano.
